The quote sounds familiar?

Well, correct!

Imagine Mbappe of PSG said that to Messi of Barcelona. Yes folks, the youngster has struck Messi’s (the so called G.O.A.T of football) side with a massive hattrick on the last 16 match of the Champions League. Moise Keane added one more goal so did Messi via the white dot and finally, the final score was 1 for Barcelona and 4 for PSG.

Mbappe against Messi

A lot of memes emerge from twitter, one of them was, you’ve guessed it ‘The Future Is Now Old Man’. Another one that cathes me is a snapshot of Mbappe and Pique, while Pique was trying to pull Mbappe’s shirt from behind because he can’t keep up with this 22 yo boy (Drax comes and said, that’s not a boy, that’s a MAN). You can say that this one is still makes sense to the previous quote.

Yes, I said that. XD

The point is, Barcelona was having a bad day, even a bad season this year. They had just got a new manager, fired the president and altering many things including the line-ups and players. They tried to keep things fresh, playing and assigning some youngsters such as Pedri and Trincao. They didn’t do that well either in the La Liga, so I guess they won’t get the win against PSG on the second leg or any trophy this year. Speaking of Trincao, I’m a little bit disappointed because he didn’t get the chance to be in the starting list and of course he didn’t score. I’m not sure about the decision though, because he played really well and scored a few goals in the previous matches. Well, then again the manager, Koeman, must have a reason for that.

Another factor that could hurt Barcelona was the score and PSG’s lineup. The score was pretty brutal for Barcelona who lost at their own home. The possibility of a comeback in PSG’s Stadion Parc des Princes is a mission impossible. That being said, it’s football, anything can happen (If the referee helps Barcelona back in 2016, the iconic controversy La Remontada). The other thing was Neymar and Di Maria, a pair of PSG’s key players were absent. Can only imagine what would happen if they both play. Speaking of Neymar, since he joined PSG, I’ve never seen him ‘fit’ against Barcelona. I wonder what it could mean? Yes he did get injured, but injured every single time PSG faces Barcelona? Hmm….something is not right here or is it? What do you guys think?
